With 3-4 parties coming in next season, do we still need CMM?

Can’t create a poll, but feel free to write down your opinion.

I think it is not necessary, but could be a great addition (especially for new players, who can’t play ranked yet).
On the other hand making it the default playing option -practically forcing it- could do more harm than good, if there are some flaws in the matchmaking algorithm, and filling up the place of leaving players, etc.

For example in Paladins if you party up as a full team you get way stronger opponents. And by way stronger I mean that they have 35-50% higher MMR, so you better not play in a 4-5 party unless you like getting stomped, or you are so good that there aren’t better players.

Casual MatchMaking.

Sorry, looks like I wasn’t clear enough o:)

Oh I see.

We obviously still need match making because not everyone will be with a group, or a full group. I also don’t think groups should be matched with higher skilled players.

You have the option to coordinate with the random people you get matched up with, just as friends communicate.

Casual is still fun. I want to be able to play casual with my friends too.
And more balance would be nice too

Frankly I’d rather see SD work on CMM and SoloQ more, because not everyone has friends.

I think It is necessary, not everyone has that many friends, like you said new players won’t have that many people to party up with and they want balanced games.
