WIP: Seeking mappers to assist with Custom Campaign Map

An idea for a map was shown to me by Capslock. He said it was shown to him a long time ago and he always wanted to do it. So I have agreed to help him. We are looking for 2 more people who would be interested in working with us on a new project.

Let me show you then explain:

Ok, as you can see this is a tank escort similiar to RailGun… however there is no railgun in this map. A version of the tug would be used in the same method as the tug in railgun.

The allies team will have to steal this train so to speak. They need to build the controls giving them access to escort this train through a trackswitch that can be changed by both teams. This switch closed would prevent allies and axis from moving it.

They escort the train to the ammo dump where a crane will load the explosives onto a flat car of the train. Then they have to escort this train back through the switch to the bridge where the train will explode on the bridge destroying the bridge.

There is a capturable flag where the axis can choose to start. They may also spawn at the main spawn.

I have contemplated the idea of moving the axis spawn from the main spawn to the ammo dump once the train has been stolen.

What we are looking to do is alot of work. Cinimatic ending showing the bridge and train exploding. The objective will work a little different than railgun. The allies may steal the tank, move through the switch, load the explosives and head out, the axis will be able to move through the proccess in reverse taking the tank all the way back to its starting position.

lol. It’s funny that your building THAT map. I drew the idea up nearly twelve months ago. I can provide you with more detail as to how I saw it work or you can just do it your self.

Ideally an additional crossing over the river would be neeed which I had penciled in at home. This will help prevent a bottleneck at the bridge since the original idea is that the train ends on the bridge, the allies rig up the detonator on the town side of the bridge and then blow the bridge BUT the axis COULD sit on the northern side and hammer the allies so that they didn’t have a chance.

looks good, Yea he said he got the image from you. I am open to any idea that would possibly improve the concept.

BTW… nice idea… I think it will come out nice.
