wish i still had the fresh ideas you all hjave, Ive ran out of good ideas, mainly because many maps are already made :(. Looks like a nice map, is it your first?

(nudget) #4

Well i wouldn’t say its my first but after a 100000000times trying,im getting the hang of it though, Idea’s doesn’t really matter if they already exist as long you can make it in a good gameplay

(SPU9) #5

looks nice.

(DWM|Commando) #6

nice look to it, i look forward to more screens

(Uchronic) #7

Seems interesting.

But, erh… the title : ā€œLe villeā€, ain’t correct in French. It should be ā€œLa villeā€.

(nudget) #8

hi again Thx for the lovely comments, ill soon update it with new screens

@Uchronic: I appoligize for my spelling mistake, but im not that good in french :frowning: this is just a temp. name, it could be Lorient or La rochelle havent decided yet

(ChiemseeMan) #9

Ifurita is using ā€œLa Rochelleā€

(nudget) #10

Ow srr then La Rochelle is of the list

Dark screenies can be brightened up easily in any graphics prog by using gamma or similiar… While you play ET with a standard r_gamma of 1.3, the screenies are still taken with 1.0. So for example using the Photoeditor that comes with MS Office you can just set the gamma to 1.3 and you get pretty much the same brightness as you have in-game.

You could name your map ā€œPuycelsi Grésigneā€, ā€œMornac sur Seudreā€, ā€œLa Pisseā€ (literally means the piss) or even ā€œLes Faissesā€ (exact same pronounciation as the french word for buttocks) … the first and second are certainly free for use, since no one ever heard about those (except the residents, maybe) and theres little chance for them having any strategic interest in a conflict.
For the two others, they were real town names until residents tought that was ridicoulus, respectively in 1893 and 1897.

To think I did a net search just to find the crappiest town names I could … I had to take a break from the scripting madness @_@.

Like the screens, wait’en for a command map to try and put all the pictures together.

Keep up the good work. :drink:
