WIP: ETCENTER - Soliciting Command Map Help

My current project is a map called ETCENTER. This is the central headquarters.

The Objectives:

Allied:

  1. Repair the Facility Controls.
  2. Hit the switch to open the Depot Doors.
  3. Steal the Tank to secure the Depot Spawn.
  4. Escort the tank to the Main Doors.
  5. Dyno Entrance the Control Room to gain access to the Radar Parts.
  6. Steal the parts and deliver them to the waiting Truck.
  7. Escort the Truck back to the Depot.

Secondary Objectives:

  1. Destroy the Storage Wall.
  2. Capture the Depot Flag.
  3. Build the Command Post gaining alternate spawn.
  4. Destroy the Depot Defenses.

Axis Objectives:

  1. Prevent the above.
  2. Build the Depot Defenses.
  3. Build Command Post

As you can see the later stages of the map still need some detail added to them. Overall the FPS have stayed above 80 for me.

Now the bad news, until I can get the command map made, it wont be released. hehe sorry.

But without a command map, many would be lost in this map.

Its not a very long map, I think average times might be around 6-8 minutes, maybe faster. I dont see any places where its to biased to axis, with 20/30 second spawns.

Also the distances from Depot spawn to radar parts, is identicle to the distance from CP spawn to radar parts. I might speed the tank up just a bit, however the escort is rather short.

And that concludes our presentation.

BTW, the map name was approved by Kekkyoku of ET-Center.com.

I am in the process of finishing the scripting for VO and adding in filler details, props. Lighting is lacking only final touches.

Need a command map. I have tried to make them. I made the command map for Sabotage and well… yea, i should stick to making the map portion. I am looking for someone who is willing to donate a little time and make something simple and clean. I can offer some web space or something in exchange.

If someone is willing to help, let me know what you need and Ill get it for you to make it.

I’d like to make a quick’n’dirty commandmap for your first release and while you’re busy reading all
those bug reports :smiley: I’ll spend some more time for a proper looking CM. No webspace needed, thanks :wink:

looks very nice but I’m not sure about the colour of the tank or the cave floor texture, but other than those two it should be quite a nice mapo to play :smiley:
