(Major_Slapnuts) #21

How about my locked event cases? I still have those. Will those stay around forever unusable?

nope, always usable, but why does it matter ?

I found it pretty weird that there wasn’t a countdown timer in the menu like in other events, but still

Technically the standard weapon cases dropped during the event are unusable right now because there does not seem to be a way to obtain keys. But I’m sure SD will add keys to the store soon. After all, they want to make money.

The loadout event cases are of course usable at anytime.

I will now be focusing my extra time on COD WWII.
Thank You, Good Night and God Bless you all.

See you in a week or two

I was lucky yesterday, I bought a crate key 5 mins before the event ran out and I didn’t even think about it. Now I have a weapon card for almost all the weapons I don’t use xD

I need skins for timik, two or three selbstadt <3 and I hope there will be skins for revivfle

Make it possible to buy stuff with cheers a couple of days after the event is over!

exactly, I was kind of lost to when the event would end too, but glad i wasted all the cheer points before hand. imo they should’ve put up a count down timer really, gamers shouldn’t have to resort to social media site just to know when the event would end. pretty bad slip from SD really!

Well, if it was that important to y’all…ya might have paid a bit more attention.

They’re not here to hold your hand, SD is here to give you a game to play and make money at the same time.

They did just fine with their notifications. Looks like a few snowflakes learned what the heat does to snow… shoulda remembered your Boy Scout motto…

I think I am really done.

Ill probably give my account to a buddy. I do have $400,000 and 99 unopened items.

Maybe wait a little, possibly once trading is implemented you might be able to sell parts of your inventory.

If a little hand holding that does not cost much to implement can increase customer satisfaction, I’d go for it. After all, the basic code to show a countdown should already be there from previous events.

Customer relationship management is a pretty well researched topic and it’s known that dissatisfied customers often voice their complaints to their friends, which can cost you potential new customers. Which consequently jeopardizes the “make money” goal you mentioned.

Damn…why would you even save that much for? as soon as I had enough for what I wanted it was gone, bought 2 trinkets and about 10 keys, on the last day I had like 85 leftover.

They’re a company though. They are supposed to hold your hand. Customer-friendliness is one of the best ways to make money, lol.
Like others have said, your playerbase shouldn’t have to check social media to know when the event ends.

We’re not giving SD money to play their amazing game, SD is making an amazing game to get money. They’re not “giving” it to us. We’re not “privileged” because we get to play a game or get an event. Any company would want players to play and enjoy their game. Not knowing your purchase window without checking other sources is just bad.

I did check everything and bought everything before the event ended, but still. SD isn’t a charity, they make money for making a good game. Annoying potential paying customers by locking important dates behind social media that they either don’t want to go to, or don’t know about isn’t a great practice.

“They’re not “giving” it to us”

yes, they are, it’s a FREE GAME, what part of that don’t you understand ?

(OwynTyler) #37

Agree, lost ~2k cheers too, pretty cowardly ending ;s

It’s not meant to be literal. Read the rest of my comment lol.
They’re not giving a game to us as an act of charity. They’re “giving” it to us in the hope that either we, or our word of mouth will bring them money.

They’re “giving” the game away just as much as a bartender gives you your beer before you hand them your money.

DB is still a product, not a gift. Look no further than the store for proof. There’s nothing wrong with that, but SD isn’t doing this all out of the kindness of their hearts, lol

Companies expect payment

its up to the people playing to decide to support them with money or just stay playing free.
at least DB isnt p2w
