Remember to always put your .pk3 file inside a .zip. Otherwise some people have problems when you release your map as a standalone .pk3 cause the computer cocks the file up. :slight_smile:

Okay, first thing… z-axis fighting!
I hope you’ve noticed the z-axis fighting thats throughout this map, theres more than I can poke a stick at :stuck_out_tongue:

And also lots of missing texture(s)

The hills need to be made with a terrain tool like Easygen or gtkgensurf, its alot easier and you produce heaps better looking terrain than creating it manualy using lots of brushes :stuck_out_tongue:

I can jump the wall without dyno just by running up the side of the hill and jumping over the barbed wire with minimal damage.

Alot of things don’t make sense. Why are there so many trees? How does that bunker hold up structurly? Etc

If you look in the sky I thought I saw rain… but it never touches the ground and its a small patch of sky…

well ooookay.
i really dont like the design of the map. looks poor and noobic.
but this map will be fun to play because it has Gameplay!
there are too many bugs inside but they are all the same: brushes coincide!
the other thign is the texturing. they are too bright for me. and repeat themselves too much!
the last thing is the terrain… well if i could call it terrain:-/
some parts of it are coming out or so. work on that;)

That’s odd, I made the terrain with EasyGen…

About the missing textures, I know about the command map, I didn’t have time to make a quality command map image, but could you please post some screenshots of some bugs you find? It would help me greatly in finding them and correcting them.

There are trees because it’s not a beach map, it’s a small valley that gets alot of wind through it, thus the name Windy Valley. So the trees are there to make sense of the wind noise that plays.

Run around in your map and you’ll see the bugs, they’re pretty obvious. :slight_smile:

um theres one other problem.
asi i started a standart map (fueldump), the Commandmap was Yellow O_o

Hmm, are you sure it wasn’t a problem with your machine, not my map? If it’s my map, I have no clue as to what may be causing it.

EDIT: I think I found your problem, just delete my map and wait for the next beta, I found an error with scripting that somehow changed the Fueldump command maps.
