Will DD ever operate windows ten
Windows 10
- “DD”…
- “DB” does work on windows 10. Update your card…or if you have a SLI setup, turn it off until nVidia gets their s*** together and releases stable Win10 SLI support (should be sometime this week).

I did read an article yesterday that said they released a beta driver which is targets SLI fixes. So if you’re having issue you might want to try it out.
And I’m running DB on two computers without any issues. The only issues I’ve had with win10 so far is Mumble can cause your PC to run out of memory when Shadow Play is turned on (known issue, nvidia is fixing it) and also Shadow Play likes to go byebye when you alt-tab. Oh, and the Steam overlay randomly doesn’t work either.
But these are pretty minor quibbles. Honestly, I gained nothing by moving over from 8.1 so if you’re setup is currently fine then I’d stay on it until the few minor driver issues get resolved.
Are you sure that’s a windows 10 issue? I’ve had that problem since when I was using 8.1.
@pretentiousWonder I haven’t had any issues with windows 10 that I didn’t have with windows 8.
I’ve had Win8/Win8.1 as long as you can have them and I’ve never had overlay issues like I have had with Win10. The overlay tends to not want to work after alt-tabbing and changing from fullscreen to borderless fullscreen doesn’t help either the shadow play issue or the overlay.
The people who say it won’t work use windows 8. I have windows 10, and yes DD aka DB works fine.
