is windows 10 supported already?

The core change between windows 8 and 10 is a small one(program wise). The big changes are cosmetic and App based. I would think that it is still supported until we discover otherwise. The moment I can I will install Windows 10 to test this and post the results on these forums.

In the eyes of Microsoft Programs and Applications are two very separate things. Apps are what everybody knows as mobile apps and programs are anything that could run on windows 7 and earlier. They are trying to find the balance for enabling Apps on desktop PCs(so you can play your mobile games on your desktop, who’d of thunk it?). Windows 10 promises to be their new solution to ALL tech devices that they can update simultaneously and use a single update track for.

This would also allow them to sell all the same products to every different type of user and allow Microsoft to better monetize their cloud platform with more in depth syncing of devices between physical platforms.

well i can install it right now if i whant. just to scared that lots of games of mine will not work anymore.
