Thought this kind of issue was worth bringing up.
So, as you know, MS re-released Gears of War UE, and released Quantum Break.
Problem is, you can’t get them outside Windows store, they are taken hostages by this whole stupid OS exclusivity. Not only that, but the prices are ludicrously high (comparable to console games), plus you can’t dig in the game’s files and be able to create mods. And many other problems (like bad optimisation) revolving around windows store.
This is yet another time MS has failed to enter gaming market and learned nothing from GFWL fiasco.
Do you think they’ll proceed or fail…AGAIN?
Will this mean, PC games gonna be divided into “OS exclusives” in the future? I sure hope not, exclusive games are something I hate, cause I can’t get my hands on them… :’(
