Hi has anyone got radient running on xp 64? Or knoes if it can / can’t be run?

I always say try…

Never yet had XP64 so… I would just try running it… see what errors I can get… and than try to fix the problem

Well, I asume that all programs that run under windows 2000/ XP will also run on windows xp64, radiant included, if not ,I think microsoft does have a huge problem and won’t be able to sell winxp64 imho…
BTW: I didn’t knew it was out already, only saw the alpha/beta version on some torrent sites…

from what people have told me the reason they dont use win64 is that there aint enough appz that support it yet… so they stick to normal winbooze xp
i havent tried myself so this aint an answer at all.:slight_smile:

i thought 64 could run 32 apps?

i’ve run radiant on win64 without problems.

win64 supports the majority of 32bit apps using the WOW emulator (windows on windows)

i tend to use regular xp as my programming work for uni gets a bit funky on win64. (can’t be arsed to figure out the compiler options to force 32 bit compiles :p)
