Will there ever be a fully customizable loadout?

I think that players in general would enjoy it more with a fully customizable loadout system. If you watch other FPS shooters and even MOBAs amongst others. Everyone wants to customize ones character (well most), to make it “yours”. To take what works for you. I know in a sense that’s what the loadout system does. But as I stated in my original post, they’ve just put bad stuff with good stuff or good stuff with bad stuff. People claim it’s for balance. I doubt that somewhat, though could be wrong. However I also mentioned that if it IS due to the fact of balancing, then just make the bad stuff better, or the really good stuff worse.

In the end though I think it’s about money, and the money system is now based on these loadout cards. I think it will probably be too big of an over haul to change it. But that’s what I would like to see, character customization. Looks only that is in terms of cash shop. Also maybe VIP playing time (weeks and months, not hours as credit boosters), and maybe even custom character cards when you sit in lobby or whatever.

I think the plan is to add things like new sights and whatnot that you can add to your current loadout cards and change at will. That will mostly keep things balanced in regards to guns vs. augments while also allowing people to customize a few things similar to how they can in other games.

Quotation marks have a huge sense here. Full customization possibilities allow to find the best loadouts with the best rounded advantages and a minimal number of drawbacks. Players will inevitably find the most efficient loadout without really caring what will be thrown at them. I’ve been playing competitively cod4 and bf: bad company 2 which were introducing perks in both series, and since it never changed : comp players use to play with 2-3 different perks all the time. More or less the same for league of legends, rune and masteries top players use are 95% identical for a same hero/class. Imo, that’s rather… Lame. In fact, I do think allowing player to choose perks/weapons/whatever within too many opportunities make the choice narrower at the end.

I’m sorry all i hear is gimmie gimmie. B.Montiel pretty much hit it right on. Why make everything customizable? Everyone would use the same stuff, meta game everything and loadout cards would be useless. You have to give something to get. Want that K121 sacrifice your nade radius. ( by the way i prefer the M4 as well on Fragger ) I honestly havent seen a terrible weapon. Bishlock is crazy if you can hit headshots, BR 16 and the Dreiss AR are deadly if you can aim. It’s what your comfortable with and practice

I’ve never liked this card system, but now I’m 100% certain that it’s not going anywhere, and we’re stuck with this thing.
I personally won’t be gambling with elite cases, because, even if RNGesus smiled upon me, and gave me a cobalt card of a merc that I play, what are the chances that the Loadout is actually the preferred one for serious play?

If loadout customization was separated from cards, and cards only came with merc outfits, then that’s something that I could dig.
That wouldn’t be as profitable, tho, because why would you keep buying cards, after you have the cobalt skin that you want?
We need RNG, we need gambling.

Y’all gotta understand that this card system isn’t in place for balancing reasons, that’s a ridiculous thing to say.
Values can be adjusted, and rebalanced, when something proves to be too strong, without the need for some arbitary card limitations.

Would prefer them as they are, balanced by the devs

[quote=“Mrlong2;24127”]frager with the M1A4, I play with that loadout all the time!

Still, I’m willing to pay as much as 2.99$ or 10,000 credits for a custom card I can choose all the weapons, perks, and camos.

Buying a existing specific loadouts through store is already 17500 credits…

I still vouch for having all useless augments removed or replaced and having the weapons balanced better (so there’s no loadouts with “good” or “bad” guns, but rather different approaches)
