Will there be Team Death Match, capture the flag (somewhat have it already)… Will the classic modes that most players like be in the game eventually? Or will there just be some new objectives and stuff of that nature down the road? I assume you already have plans to make new maps and things of that nature in the future. Keeping the game fun and what not.

I definitely do not doubt it mate. I think their focus of the testing is for the objective type modes but it’s classic to have just the basic team death match!

No tdm at all that is for sure. Ctf I highly doubt but i might be wrong.

It makes sense, it’s what they did with Brink. But, I doubt it’ll hurt at all

tdm used to be part of the game and we even had separate map version for them

With this being said. Why can’t we have a tdm with three teams? A versus B versus C? Of course this means we would probably need different maps to support multiple teams like this. 3 players versus 3 players versus 3 players!

Adding TDM would somehow betray the main argument of E.T. studio with teambased games. Just my opinion, but i wouldn’t like TDM, at least for the sake of the game’s reputation. Sure it’s basics, but that’s why there are plenty of other games to play that mode. I’m not connecting to DB to play tdm. Actually i never played a SD game in order to frag, even if the feel is great.
That said, they could allow dedicated servers with custom settings in order to emulate tdm.

On the other hand, ctf, or king of the hills, or even double tank race (like payload in tf2) would be appreciated. And nobody talk about it, but a co-op mode could be nice too, right? A team of 4 players, a map fram A to B, bots in between. Kind of a survival.
