Will there be new Obsidian Operatives for all the mercs?

I just returned to Dirtybomb after a 3-4 months hiatus, but I’ve noticed that Dirtybomb has been releasing some new impressive obsidian skins which we could select and purchase with money without having the hassle to roll!

Did the team said anything about releasing more loadouts with the same level of design as we’ve seen for Stoker, Arty, Fletcher and Phantom?

As you can already tell from my nick, its been a long time since Aimee finally got added into the game and despite her backstory as a French, classy and elegant looking hitman merc, she’s really not that attractive ingame. So, looking at how much the new loadouts changes the look of the mercs, will she be getting one too? And hopefully, one that shows off that je n’ais se quoi that we all imagine French models possess?

The best loadout cards were initially the Founders’ edition ones and now with these Obsidian Operative cards, DirtyBomb’s really taking a step into the right direction for the cosmetic department.

Probally would be new skins for all the mercs some time in the future. Lets just hope they don’t look like turd hair Turtle.

Yeah, these New(er) Obsidian Skins are called Tactical Black and i presume ALL Mercs will eventually get this Obsidian since when it was released SD said ‘Introducing a New Line of Obsidians’

I’m afraid a hotter Aimee skin may have to wait a while. All of Splash Damage’s artistic horsepower has been expended on making Nader beautiful and Javelin’s butt more distracting than a Thunder concussion.

Lol in all seriousness though, I agree and hope they keep these new skins rollin’ out. I care more about SE cards than anything else. Anything along the lines of new Founder’s editions would be amazing. Those were the best looking by far.

to be honest i sort of disagree, i think they’ll all eventually get one but the founders mercs will be pushed back to the end just so theres a complete collection of mercs with alternative skins

founder’s will/should always remain unique, like Proxy ginger and Sky’s facemask, but I would imagine there will be some Obsidian for each merc eventually

But wouldnt making a new proxy obsidian with mesh change make the ginger proxy less valuable

Well, the culprit obsidian version of Proxy is already ginger so…
I would like to see a punk version of Proxy for the future obsidian, with dyed pink or blue haired :smiley:

I’d like to have option of reroll. Especially on those obsidians that i paid for. Pleaaase SD? My culprit proxy is just too sexy for that remburg! She would be much more charming with hochfir.
