Will the devs be adding crosshair options in the future?

Ive decided to give custom crosshair overlays a test to see if my aim benefits from them. Right now why I do fine with the devs original crosshairs, the lack of options makes me desire new and different shapes.

That said, has anyone heard any of the devs mention bringing new crosshairs or crosshair options to the game?

I’ve not heard anything mentioned. but there would be a LOT of happy people if they did

agreed. I don’t think players should install third party programs to have their own crosshairs. I’m using the default one but feel at disadvantage vs. players who use mumble for their crosshair.

Actually the main reason for me to have a custom crosshair is to fix the horrible ironsights on some guns (K-121, Blishlok). They jump all over the place but are not centered on the screen where your bullets actually go. Also helps with sniper scopes, the tiny black dot on a dark background makes it hard to actually know where you’re shooting.

What I’m trying to say is that even if they added different (hipfire) crosshairs, there’d still be good enough reasons to use 3rd party programs.

Yep, more crosshair options is definitely something on the road-map! As to exactly when it will be in the game, I can’t really say  The main focus right now is actual game content, so things like that will be worked on, on the side, or they will come at a later date.

Sorry, but there is no excuse for not having pixels centered at the screen come in a variety of shapes and sizes.

I want a developer to stand up and say that it would take him more than an hour or two to cobble together half a dozen crosshairs and slap them into the game. Seriously, some have been asking for this since closed beta, “later date” is simply nonsense.

There will always be people wanting to use third party programs. But adding new crosshairs to the game would make people like me who don’t want to use third party programs actually have a better chance against them.
