Will steam demos be availible?

I would love to have the ability to send my friends a timed multiplayer demo of the game once it comes out. Seems like the best possible way to advertise a game based on teamwork; allowing people to show their friends through it.

Don’t think so, they said they are not making any demos, last i heard.

No. They stated there would be no demos. Although people have been talking that they might do a free weekend, to showcase it later on.

No, I mean an actual demo.

I heard “no demos” often in response to all the people wanting a pre-release demo.

But a steam demo is much easier to do, as steam already has the system in place. It allows players to send their friends a demo as a gift, and they usually have two weeks to play the game. After that point, they have to buy it if they want to keep playing it.

It would be an excellent way to get the word out about Brink, and literally all they have to do to make it happen is to ask steam to allow players to send them out.

I really hope it does. The quality of the videos that could be made then would improve tremendously.
