I’ve been reading all over the net that German copies of Brink have been crashing, much like my copy, but I was wondering if the new update will fix my problems too.
It crashes in 3 ways:
On startup it crashes ALOT (maybe 5/6 times on a bad day) but only during the bethesda logo or the ID logo. Massive pain.
Before turning the dialogue volume to zero, it would crash during the loading screen before a mission when your leader is talking to you. It has crashed once since then. Still, massive pain.
Finally, there are just random instances of the screen freezing at a random point in the game, or I get that error message about the dlc.
Everyone keeps talking about the lag, but i don’t care about the lag, I just want to be able to play the game without having to restart my xbox a good 5/10 times in the process. The crash count must be well into the 50’s i imagine.
I have an xbox arcade, its pretty old, but this has never happened before. Then i bought L.A. Noire and it was crashing too (though not nearly as much thank god) which made me wonder, none of my mates have these problems, is it because i have an old xbox?
Will this update sort me out? I really want to play this game, it’s wicked!
