Will dirty bomb Ever come out on console in the future?

I know the game is still in development and Prolly still got a lot of other things to worry about. but i feel like it would be a great idea to release this game on Xbox one and PS4. Event tho i don’t play on console(i don’t own any, or want to) it think it would help bring more attention to your game. I also thing dirty bomb would be a very successful F2p shooter on the console market. People might say the game may be to buggy to be on console but i personally never see bugs in dirty bomb and if Paladins is on console(A really buggy game) i think Dirty Bomb would work on console

Doubt it. Dirty Bomb is way too fast for controllers.
Look at every other popular console PVP game, they’re all slow to accommodate this. Sure, maybe it could work if everyone was using the same slow controllers, but then the entire game would be different from what most people like in DB.

Whether or not DB could run bug free on consoles is another point entirely, but unless the game was significantly slower, I can’t see it being that enjoyable on consoles.

never going to happen.
unless its got there own dedicated servers.
the last time the “big boys” ie epic / blizzard / EA sports… tried a cross platform…pc/xbox/playstation FPS it was a bloodbath for the console guys, the speed and precision of the pc simply can not be matched by the consoles. they took 10 console “legends” and pitted them against 10 pc gunners and ran a bunch of teamdeathmatches and last man standing rounds and the console guys never won any, not even close. it was epicly embarrassing for the console guys. pretty much ended all forward progress in cross platform dev. very few devs are willing to double the amount of servers needed on a gamble that it works out.

I wasent talkin about having it be cross platform just have the game be on console. of course it would be a bad idea to have console players fight against PC players. But i was just thinking it would be were only people on xbox could play on xbox

why would you want to play on an inferior platform that keeps charging me money to play online?

Consoles have too much royalty fees. Even updating the games costs thousands of dollars.

Dirty Bomb is and always will be a PC shooter in my eyes. I don’t think it fits consoles at all and can hardly imagine there being a console version sometime in the future considering how fast the gameplay is.

Trying to play Dirty Bomb on a controller would be awful, rage inducing to the maximum level. Because the enemies move too fast too track, and take too many hits, even Titanfall was bordering on that impossible to play for consoles.

Game like Halo and Call of Duty work because that’s how they were built, and why console shooters ultimately don’t appeal to me.

although SD have stated this is a PC game, they made controllers work with “Brink”
