Will casual matchmaking remove callvote kicking abuse?

So the big rant about two players in particular a month or so ago in the Australian region didn’t really do much. He’s back after his temporary ban and he’s up to the same antics. I just join a game before, he joins after me, 1 minute later he callvote kicks me and him and his mates pass it.

At the time I was kicked, there was only 1 Australian server running, so I literally can’t play when this happens. He’s doing it to everybody again, I could compile a list of people who have messaged me over the last 2-3 days regarding him and his behavior again, and I even have video proof of him doing it once again. He randomly calls the vote and says “kick this Dox c*nt” and they proceed to pass it.

Our player base is too small for this crap. We are lucky to have 2-3 servers running during the day at the moment so when you’re banned from any of them, it’s increasingly difficult to find a game. Words can’t even describe how annoying it is knowing that when he joins your server, you’re going to be booted and banned from it unless you quit before he has the chance to, which we shouldn’t have to do.

So I ask, will casual matchmaking stop this kind of kick abuse, or are we going to have to keep on suffering from this dickhead since he isn’t being slapped with a perma ban.

I hope not, as whilst I have not experienced this sort of abuse in an eu server i have heard of many in the Australian region. I hope this is noticed and fixed by SD, that these players actions should be bannable.

For some reason i wrote i hope not. Hmm. Well im on my phone which doesn’t allow me to edit it so let me just say I HOPE THIS PROBLEM DOESN’T PERSIST AFTER CMM.

The worst part about the video is the other players on my team f1 and then after I’m kicked they say “So why did we kick him?” … When I have a legitimate reason to kick someone (eg they are afk) people never f1 but for some reason whenever this guy calls a vote, everyone f1’s.

Straight after I leave as well they try to coax another player on the opposing team to their team telling him to join them for a win, and they’re saying on voice comms “As soon as he joins we’re going to kick him regardless ok” while the other responds with “Alright, you’re the boss hahaha”

@Dox feelsbadman

Wow I feel sorry for the Australian players. After all the heat this guy is back with the same old shit ?

Just to set the record straight @Jokder , this sounds mostly like Nexon’s, publisher in charge of servers, advertising etc., thing more than SD’s who are the games developers.

I can understand the frustration, and the fact this individual is back at it is sad to hear. However on the bright side, if this temp-ban he had was laid on for indeed for his actions discussed here previously, any sensible authority (if not restricted by some legal idiotism) should be smiting some permanent punishments next now that the very same actions are done by same individual who already got a warning for it. I understand Nexons side too, companies can rarely go for perm bans right away with stuff like this that isn’t straight up cheating.

So, keep being vocal about him, same kind of experiences are most probably needed to be voiced here like the last time he got his warning ban. @RazielWarmonic could look into it again perhaps? This kind of stuff can definitely hurt PR a lot.

Hope this time around this idiot’s buttbuddies are receiving some hammer too.

Yeah… I feel bad for you Dox and the rest of the Australian players who have experienced the same stuff. That is just stupid and completely unnecessary

I agree with bontsa. It is kind of a PR issue. I think ignoring it completely could reflect very badly on Nexon America’s image.

I am sure if Raziel can do something to help, she will.

She did last time, eventually will do this time around too. Things need to be investigated first though, and companies are huge ships to manouver so give it time.

(yesser) #10

i guess there will be no vote kick in CMM but maybe some report options at the end of a game (abuse afk cheating… ect)much like lol

Here’s the twitch vod for anybody interested, at around 13 minutes.

Dunno m8. All I can suggest is to stay out of any lobby that she’s in streaming, as you know that Jim and the friend zoned guy will always, ALWAYS be there.

Personally, I can’t think of any reason to have a kick vote besides afk, and hackers.

AFK should be an automated thing, 1 min away from keyboard and you’re gone.

Hackers, a little more difficult, some anti cheats have it, some don’t. But I think kicking someone just based on the suspicion of hacking is pretty dumb. Often times people are just salty.

Just to add on what Bontsa last said…

I know Raziel has got this. I have found her to be very crafty and resourceful. If she has the ability to do something she will get it done no matter what it is. She just needs time. I personally have confidence in her that I don’t ever see wavering.

Closing this discussion as it’s about calling out players instead of an actual discussion about vote kicking in CMM.

Please send in a ticket about problematic players so we can better keep track of them.

You can do so here: https://support-dirtybomb.nexon.net/hc/en-us

(It’s way easier to go through tickets and keep notes on problematic players through support tickets than it is on the forums, this is why I ask you to do it, not trying to seem like a dick and ignore the issue. )

Thank you.
