Wildly inaccurate hit markers/indicators

Ok, so first let me tell you what it looks like on my side:
I get killed, on average, in 4-5 shots at MOST. This is regardless of what class/gun they’re playing.
On MY screen I get, on average, 9-12 hit indicators(you know, the hit markers that indicate I hit them) and it doesn’t kill them. Often it barely hurts them.
Now, obviously, everyone in the game can’t be cheating, so the only explanation is that I’m not actually hitting them that many times. I have asked some other players to verify, and they’ve told me I’m hitting them only 3-4 times on average. Again, my game is telling me I’m hitting them MUCH more than that. I even get headshot dings(sometimes 2-3 in a row!). It’s apparent that my game is not giving me accurate hit feedback and it’s causing me a lot of frustration. I’ve tried all the common cfg tweaks like setting everything to low, adjusting this and that, updating drivers, etc, etc, etc. Nothing works. I’ve reinstalled the game, and it’s the same issue. Ping also does not seem relevant to the issue. This wasn’t happening prior to the game coming back online, so I’m assuming that it’s something to do with the recent update. I’d appreciate it if someone could look into it.

I wish I had better news for you mate but…

Yes, it does take that many hits to kill people sometimes…
If you are at range you can sometimes hit 15 - 20 SMG rounds and have them still alive…

I agree there are major issues when it comes to the feedback related to being shot. I often feel the same, like someone hit me 2 - 3 times before I died…
However, its not how it works mate very few Mercs/Weapons can even kill in 2 - 3 headshots.

I get what you’re saying, and that’s good to know, but I wouldn’t find it odd if I weren’t literally going down in a much lower amount of shots. I’ve recorded and watched back videos of iit happening. Sometimes I can see explanations for it, like I already took damage and didn’t realize it, or there was another shooter I didn’t see at the time, etc. But other times, there’s just no explanation but glitching…great example…just last night I was playing and I got hit from a stray bullet(not a sniper)…just 1 bullet as far as I could tell…it took away 25pts of health from me. Even at a 150 health total that would only take 6 shots to kill me, and that’s assuming they don’t get a headshot. So, it would still point to some sort of glitchout.
Now, there are times when it seems normal to be fair, but more often than not I’m getting this sort of situation. Of course, it’s possible in the above example I got hit more than once but the game didn’t feedback properly, and really that’s what I assume happened, but you can imagine how difficult it is to be effective when such things are going on.
Anyhoo, thanks as always for your feedback…I’m hoping the devs fix whatever caused it in the next update.
