Wiimote use in Dirty Bomb

(Darkcola) #1

Hi everyone,

some may know me, or not haha. I have been testing various games with a FPS mouse/control wiimote emulator that IS NOT glovepie or wiimouse or any others. It runs great, but on low settings for Dirty Bomb, but it IS competitive and I want to inform the community about it and how fun and immersive it is. It is accurate. It is responsive. It wont make you rage.

Here is link, please give feedback- no its not a fake vid… Info about the work and progress is listed there!

If you want to try this yourself or have questions you may add me in steam or ask me here or on the youtube link!

Btw, I’ll be testing more tonight. You can use steam broadcast to watch if you want. Also, if you want an easy kill right now, hahahaha well let me know…

Very interesting… :o

Cool that you can use the remote to play but thats about it. Might be fun to mess around in a pub but there’s no way this can be used for competitive play. The slow right and left turn and inability to track heads and the jerkiness are never going to let this replace a mouse. I would be beyond frustrated to play with this. In the feedback sections we are trying to give SD feed back down to the millisecond and if there any delay it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Cool idea though haha!

see the video for more info- its a nice dialogue between me and spookify.

  • it will comtinue to get better! We have a new script that allows for real fine aiming now in more graphic heavy games as well as (finally) csgo. The nice thing is, DB isnt yet Headshot dependent, so using wiimote is pretty easy actually- I thought it would be harder considering the speed. If it was as fast as it used to be, then I wouldnt be so sure

Looks so good, I’m amazed by the video, but at the same time i’m so envious cause i didn’t play the game yet ;_;
