Why?

Why the team shuffle in game is broken as fuck?
Why when I am winning a match that the levels in the server are EQUAL and there are 6 minutes for the enemies to destroy the wall but we are stopping them, not spawn camping a guy will call a vote (a level 10 who just got to the server) shuffle and it will pass??
So now I am in the attacking team but no no no, the levels arent eual. AND, we have 6 minutes to destroy the wall that before the shuffle they (the unshuffled team) had 14 minutes?? Tell me why is this a thing? Why not to RESET THE GAME SO WE WILL START FROM NOTHING??

So after the shuffle we got spawn camped for a minute so I left it. Am I a bad person for leaving this “balanced” match?

Now I want to see who will disagree and why, because thats just wrong.

Balance is broken atm but players who votes the shuffle if the teams were even are worse than the shuffle itself.

We just need to wait for the casual matchmaking to be released and hope it will fix this thing.

Balance is broken because it take into account elo rank and this is not accurate enough for a game where only 12 players play on the same server. If one player is on a bad day and has a high elo rank, it fucks the game up. It’s not the player’s fault nor the game’s one, but it just doesn’t work.

there wont be any shuffle in CM

CM looks like lite ranked to me.

Casual matchmaking is a ranked without straight rules. If enough players use it, it can be a good feature. But if it sucks at the release, it’s not gonna works. They need some care on this system because it can be a big improvement.

Yeah. I want an option for 7v7 also.

I am sure that if not a lot of players willuse this, they will make a 2x credits event or 3x. Maybe even 20% more credits for playing CM (always).

As long as it works, I think CMM will be pretty good. More credits could be very good incentive for using it. I can’t wait for the new system myself though.

I never found how people can calculate skill accurately using a computer model in video games.

  • Ive met (since fps first started and I used to play tourneys) tons of players that were never high ranked but were some of the most important players on a team- simply because what they did was recognized by the community but NOT by the system of ranking.
  • This really applies to players who play true support or middle man - they do a lot that goes unnoticed by the computer ranking but save a lot of bacon, lay down cover fire, take deaths for the team to protect an objective and so on.
  • There are other great examples- but I’m sure you get the idea.
  • This is why I think leaving it up to the teams playing to shuffle or self assort themselves is the only way to get , on average, a better chance at a fun match. Friends should be allowed to play together- even if it means destroying the other team.

@Darkcola
I agree with the first part,
But players never shuffle when it must be done, or rarely. Very (too) often people shuffle just because they loose, and almost never want when they can get an easy win.

A good way to shuffle is to let people change team if needed, but it’s hard to implement without making it exploitable.

Please do not create rant threads. I get that a person can get pretty frustrated but this forum isn’t your outlet for it. If you want to create a constructive thread that identifies an issue and it’s not something that is already being talked in other threads then you can do that. I have to close this one though, sorry.
