why warning when alright?

The trucks in my map have a script to tell them what texture to use, becuase they would show up all black.

Everything is good the trucks look great, but in the console it warns me that it can’t find the 2 shaders one for tire models, and one for trucks.

whats up with that, should I care if it looks good in game?

Hi Storm!
I get “shader not found” when I use the model for the secret docs. In my opionion the docs looks ok.
I think you can ignore the warnings. I know I do.
They make you stressed though. I got hysterical when I saw “setstate called, but no entities found” in the consol. (I managed to find the setstate call in the script and remove it. So problem solved.) But then I saw that the same warning (in consol) appeared when I started one of the real maps (eg. Fueldump, Goldrush). “If they can live with warning text, so can I”, was my thought.
Brasklapp: Use this advice with cauhtion, or however it is spelled. I mean, make sure to playtest it with others.

Shader not found error most of the time means that the editor cant find the thumbnail image for the shader. it is only used in the texture window of the editor and does not effect the compiled map.
