Why the hell i have no sound or missing sounds on all maps ?

I cannot play this game without sound !

  • no gun sound
  • no footsteps
  • no voices

evertthing is broken.

It’s the only game with such issues.

Come on i buy this crap and i want to play it at least few minutes without problems.

mute on lost focus–uncheck

I’ll try that, but i doubt i will fix the issues.

Seriously, an attackers shoot a full clip at me and I don’t hear the deflragrations… all i have is a mess, only basses, everything seems muffled…

I can’t stand this.

you dont have sound cause this game performance is a POS. SD doesnt give a **** about this game. and they mislead us on what requirements are needed to actually run this game.

Did you just update your display drivers and installed HDMI drivers? Maybe your computer thinks you want to use HDMI for sound, even though you’re not using that. If that’s the case go to your sound option in Control Panel and tell your computer what’s up.

It’s a glitch, you only hear ambient noises and the rest is mute.

Yes, I think i hear only the “reverb” of guns, not the direct sound waves…

This is driving me crazy, I can’t spot the enemies or the gunfights…

I feel like having a hear disease lol

I thought I only got this on the aeroplane map but it’s been happening on other maps at what seems like random points in the game. Although the aeroplane one happens from start all the time.

Post your DXdiag in this thread http://www.splashdamage.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24949 thats the best you can do at this moment, i got similar problems with the sound on top of that i also have low FPS because i use ATI card and mp jittering, we can only hope for the best .
