Why people hate overwatch here

Well, at least you don’t change your avatar into Tracer… in a website for another fast-paced game with really smooth movement system, heavy emphasis on skill, not on money or rock-paper-scissors, isn’t noob-friendly, better maps and interesting objectives, not to mention the mad gameplay, and nice community.

Overwatch is nice on it’s own. Noob friendly, heroes restricted to do their job, interesting background, magically crazy gameplay, and simple objectives. And it’s just too simple, and so relaxing to play. It’s build on the idea of casual matches, not complete competitive like DB (most of the case). Also, cute characters.

But honestly, you are pissing me off by that avatar.

EDIT: The reason why we Dirty Bombers hate Overwatch is the gameplay. Too much wizard-y, like Hanzo summons some dragons to cause the same damage that Skyhammer can outside. It’s too noob-friendly, so skill is actually not important. The map layout can be edgy, and the pace is not like how Blizzard advertised. And TOO MANY BUTTS!

Also, it might had something with jealousy or bigotry, since DB is not good as a “beta”.

I was a big fan of it when it was pre-open beta and when I got the chance to play it, it felt it had nothing to offer except eye-candy. I was ready to shell out AAA $$ for it but after further reviews and developer knee jerk incidents, I was glad i didn’t get it. Don’t get me wrong, I’d still play it I get a free copy of it, it’s just that I think it’s just what is a re-branded TF2 in terms of game-play… and you should know the depth of TF2’s content.

In “GameSpeak” terms, OW is top tier when it comes to characterisation. Sadly, DB doesn’t have that same level though, except for Rogue En Vogue which gives lore to about two characters. That’s where the eye candy is as well…and… that’s where savory ends after you realize you’re playing something like TF2.

I don’t like Overwatch because it has a skill ceiling as high as the floor.

I like DB because it has a skill ceiling the height of the U.S. debt ceiling.

Because people worship it like it is the only fps out there. But it is shallow unoriginal and slow fps instead. Nothing new to the genre except some stupid MOBA elements and of course it is super shinny.

I was so hyped before i played open beta then totally disappointed because i was expecting something really new and fresh. :confused:

Most of the time, pubs in OW is like talking to 4 years old kids how to stop breaking things.

I’ve played MWR and IW more than 200 hours now and I can confirm DB is way worse because of the F2P aspect

its toxicity can hurt your skin, the amount of salt generated per match is unbelieveable

I know, 3x Grenades Sonic boom or Juggernaut (sometimes Stopping power) , M16 Martyrdom
Shove a good ole 40mm down the hatch too and you’re good the go

I had a lot of fun playing OW but…hitboxes are too casual, level gap between noob / good players is ridiculous …For many characters , ultimate consist in pressing ‘R’ button at the right moment and get 3-4 ez kills…
Even when my team needs Tanks or Medic , it was easier for me playing Widowmaker and carry with her… ( i sucks as sniper in DB )

I’ve played it on open beta, and it’s good. I don’t like it as much as DB though because of the limitations of each character, relatively slower gameplay, etc. Might buy it someday
