Why not this ?? Think !!

Okay there are level rewards now for players … but it has been announced it’s not retroactive sadly … i understand that’s a big issue to be retroactive … that might cause confusions …

But how could leave Legendary players of dirty bomb in this misery … there are lot of players who spent nearly 1000+ hours and on levels more than 50’s and 100’s …( Nisse is on 134 :flushed: ) why don’t you do something for those players …

Like a giveaway of special thing for players are who are above lvl 50 ?? or more special for ppl with lvl 100+ !!

It’s just a kind act you do for veteran players of DB who had also contributed and helped in recommending DB to new players … i Know level up xp are pretty close for every level still those players who crossed 50’s , 70’s 100’s missed hell a lot of ARSENAL cases … that’s why

                                                         Thank You

Agree but have it form Lv 25. By that Lv 25 you’d probably have 300+ hours into the game, which I think is quiet alot and worth something…

It really does not bother me, it’s not like I won’t keep playing this game, and I am not entitled to get any new stuff like this right away because I played so much.

I got enjoyment out of this game, that was my time spent. I don’t need to be compensated, and neither does anyone else.

Plus, it’s ridiculous, that would be about 49 of these Arsenal cases for me, so a ton of credit boosters and cards, all given to me right away the moment the update goes live. Yes, that’s fair. >_>

That is why @DirtyMerc is suggesting only ONE case or other type of reward per 25 LV’s after LV 50. I agree giving players a case for every level isn’t needed, I mean we all ready got the normal cases. But just something for the players with a sh*t tons of hours into the game.

I’m level 80 or 81 right now. I do not feel that I need to be rewarded for all 80 levels. I play because I like to play the game. The simple fact of the games existence and that there are people to play with makes me happy. I don’t need rewards, Pokemon to collect or carrots on a stick to keep me playing. I know I’m not everyone but that is why I personally play.

With that said I don’t mind that people would all start out on the same foot. At some point pretty early on (I think before even 10) you start needing the same XP to gain another level and it does not scale up at all. So a level 10 would be on the same field as me at 80 with this new incentive. They would need to get the same amount of XP as me to get to the next big reward. I’m totally fine with this.

However, I do realize that I am not every person. And some people are going to feel, somewhat irrationally IMO, upset over the fact that they are level 30 or 40 and won’t be getting a lot of cases despite the facts that everyone starts off on nearly the same foot. It’s pretty inevitable actually.

With that in mind I wouldn’t mind if SD gave anybody who was level 10 or above a single case as an olive branch to help with people being upset over their feelings of missing out (even if they aren’t actually missing out). This would help smooth out some of the bad PR this is obviously going to get from people who really believe they should be compensated.

@RazielWarmonic , thoughts?

Again, it’s not needed, we don’t need to be compensated for playing something we willfully play for our enjoyment, the game itself is enough.

If anything, give us stuff we ACTUALLY want, not more cosmetics. I think anyone here who’s been playing a long time would much rather have a server tool so we can have community servers, I’d even pay for that, 15 bucks a month for a community server? Dude, people would jump on that shiz.

They could do milestone rewards or something though. Say every 10 levels you get an Elite case or something.

(TheGreatHoundini) #8

Isn’t it that only the Original Gangstas of DB have Founder Cards?
I mean, there’s some of us who joined later… and we’ll never have those cards will we?

(doxjq) #9

I believe you had to purchase the founders cards, they weren’t just given to everyone who was playing at the time. I could be wrong though.

(Mr-Penguin) #10

This is correct.

According to this it was only available in Closed Alpha… So yeah… basically if you see one running around that’s an “Original Gangsta”.

But yeah… I think it’s about time they rewarded people who have stuck around for 1,000’s hours.

It should be like Gran Turismo where the game just coughs up a new car for you for “racking up the miles”.

Also… at the risk of sounding a bit self-serving… I’d like a special “Purple Heart” loadout card awarded every 1,000 Arm/Disarm deaths without firing a shot… Or a “Medal of Valor” loadout card drop awarded who can do all the objectives in a single match on a single life…(It’s only ever happened to me once!)…

There’s a lot of us who dedicated our lives to the mission…and people would be less K/D sensitive if dying for the cause was actually awarded with nice skins!

At some point people were talking about getting trinkets for having a certain amount of some badges (like a Godlike trinket, a The Doctor trinket…) and SD/Nexon said they were considering the idea, that might or might not happen.

(frankopeti) #14

don’t think of it what u didn’t get, think of it what u can get now!

(TheGreatHoundini) #15

Well the truth is I’m pretty happy with what I’ve got right now. Granted, I’m not that serious of a player really.

At the end of the day, rewards for getting say 1,000 of a certain badge (I get Spec Ops a lot for example), rewards for many 1,000’s hours… Those sound like great ideas to me.

Trinkets also have zero gameplay effect… so they are a safe giveaway.

I don’t think it’s about compensation for the time we’ve spent. But rewarding your most active players for supporting the game more than others by inviting friends, spending money or simply playing the game a lot would not be a bad move.
Rewarding your most loyal customers is something every business should do IMO, no matter of it’s a f2p online game or a retail business. It helps long-term profitability. And this would be the perfect chance to do so.

Meanwhile SD decides to fuck over most dedicated customers by releasing better 2nd edition cards without providing any way to upgrade existing cards. Your HB K51 Fragger, Logitech M61 Fragger, many CW/WtD/ReV are now inferior.

Heh, this update is so damn great otherwise. But I really cannot bring myself to enjoy it because of that… :frowning:

Thinking about it, it looks like this quesadillas May or whatever it’s called is SD’s way of extending an olive branch to you, to give you a fighting chance to get the loadouts you want in second edition. Now all you need to do is have no life at all for the rest of May and you’ll be fine!

(Verticules) #19

It would be cool if they did a double xp event with the case patch. But retroactive cases would be overwelming

(neg0ne) #20

theres a wrong mindset hanging around.
this:

…have 300+ hours into the game, which I think is quiet alot and worth something…

is frankly bullshit.
its a game, we play it cos we like it, period.
db ows us nothig for playing the game - how weired is that thinking.
whoever feels so bad about the game if he doesn´t recive lots of shiny blingbling as a gift that he wants to quit the game feeling treated unfair … plz quit.

maybe dont worry about useless cosmetics but more about core features.
