Have to admit, I’m rather at odds here, I genuinely wanted to buy the 20 dollar package since I didn’t get the chance to get a founder package, but theres very little information as to what happened to founders packaged and have no clue what they even look like anymore, for instance the removal of dazzler and having him replaced with Fragger and Thunder, the amount of money for a merc, both real cash and credits is insane, compared to the earlier beta phase, there is working for a character then there’s arbitrary grinding and it feels like the latter, the lack of many mercs that players wanted to see and in my personal opinion the annoyance that is Aura leaves a sour taste, that along with the fact that I’m region restricts from buying these virtual credits and characters, for some reason. There’s also the fact that 35000 credits is just enough to buy a new merc, if they’re not priced wt 50000 like Fragger. There’s a lot that has me worried about Dirty Bomb and I’m really hoping to see feedback from Splash damage or Nexon America, don’t want this game to die out quickly but they’re really playing all the wrong cards recently.
As for the founders packages and obsidian loadouts it seems that tying weapons and augmentions to a particular look was one of the worst plays they’ve done, unlike the earlier beta that let players equip different appearances, looks like loadouts and skins tied together was really disliked by the general public and I wouldn’t blame them.

I don’t get the problem. They are still issuing beta keys. But they basically did Early Access with their closed beta on Steam. People can buy a key right now and get all the mercs unlocked and a ton of credits. I already was in and I bought the pack because the game is totally worth throwing $20 at the devs. They’ve made a great game and I don’t mind parting with some cash to support while also not having to unlock the mercs.

Think of it like HOTS, Its going to be FTP, but you can buy in for $40 now, in that game you also get dailys to unlock characters of you can buy them. frankly, this games is way cheaper then HOTS

The game will be free to play when the open beta will hits. Meanwhile people can buy a key or wait for one/grab it on twitter/ask for people to get one. I don’t see what’s the issue here. Devs have to earn some money to improve the game.
There was also a bug that made the game having to be purchased while you already had a key, but it’s fixed as far as I know.

The issue here is why are they doing this? This is supposed to be a closed beta game and if you haven’t catch on, this is nothing but a scheme to get money. Its obvious they will not send that many keys at all, why? Well, if they want to play lets make them pay. We, screw them and you my boy go pay unreasonable amount of money for a closed beta, bugged, unfinished product. Hope you get your NEXON Knight TITLE SOON.

Matter of this is they don’t even have an ETA for when will it be release lol. The game has been in development for more than a year and now they try to pull this off? I just don’t get why some people are not seeing what’s happening here…

Do you go to every forum from games that get on steam’s greenlight where people pay to get into the alpha even though its F2P, or how about all the kickstarters that people pay to to get into an alpha of a CONCEPT of a game that might never appear.
With this you are not just paying to get into the game, but you are paying for mercs which atm, would take about 4 months to unlock (hopefully they lower this as that is kinda long) but like i said before HOTS has done pretty much the same thing, and I doubt you have bitched on their forums

It’s early access support. H1Z1 did it, other games did it also. You support the development and get a beta key for the support. Get your stuff right bro

beta tests are supposed to be bugged and unfinished, that’s why they’re called beta TESTS. A bunch of people paid well over $300 3years ago to be able to participate, you seem to be totally butthurt about nothing. Oh yah, games aren’t free to make and no one is getting rich on a handful of people payin $20, there’s less than 1000 people playing and nearly all of them had keys from the previous tests so I don’t see the money grab. Go do the dailys, you unlock everyone right away

they charge a minimal amount to get people to show some commitment, if you pay to get in you’re more likely to put some time in and develop a better understanding and therefore give better comments

I see your point. I just think its a bad move to start off the game like this. It gives people a bad impression specially if the game is advertised as free to play. Why should anyone pay if its free to play? Also everything they give can be unlock as soon as you start playing. In a few months they will open the servers to everyone yet those that paid got nothing special only had it easier to get in. To me, its a bad move on their part. But what ever I guess.
