I just had a stopwatch game where we started with an AFK. And after 5 unsuccessful vote kicks, we finally kicked him out.
In the 14th minute of the first half.
The 14th minute.
That’s it; game ruined, we barely got past out spawn in the first objective on terminal. Why wasn’t he automatically kicked off? It seems pretty easy to me: if you don’t move to for 1 minute, then you get automatically kicked off. Simple as that. Why is that not a thing? Instead the AFK is calling votes against himself… what?
why is the vote system so fricking awful?

the system is also pretty abuseable
i once got a guy who stayed in spawn, dodging the auto vote kick by moving once in a while
afk needs to be out fast so it can be replaced by other people to act as a moving meat shield for the top scorer
@Eox @Amerika @Ardez1 - Inappropriate language in title of post, forum filter didn’t pick it up.
I had someone who did nothing but jump for an entire match, some macro or something for every 20 seconds or so. Didn’t even call a vote against himself.
it was a mistake to replace auto-afk kick (after i believe 3 min) with JUST the auto-votekick, but removing the automatic afk kick at the same time.
People don’t vote, games are lost.
They actually removed the automatic kick? That’s insane, it’s absolutely required if someone is AFK for more than 60 seconds. One might argue even 60 is being generous with just how much an AFK person can decide the flow of a match.
No auto kick is still alive i just tested it and ot tried kicking me saying i called a vote againt my self . I think people just found a way around it. Or bumping the mouse may be enought to prvent a kick vote. Problem with the whole afk is system puts to vote and some times im too buosy not dyong to lookat top cormer of screen. I have seen it go through an auto kick before rarely though. Itbis broken because ive seen it just kick for idle and other times just keeps auto starting a vote kick multiple times
@Mc1412013 autovotekick /= autokick
im pretty sure they removed it when they introduced the auto votekick
Fairly sure both are still in game. The auto vote kick usually triggers once or twice before the auto kick happens though.
