Why is the HUD Configurator not working anymore?

As many of you know there is this super awesome tool to change your HUD in Dirty Bomb. The HUD Configurator: http://wezelkrozum.com/temp/xt_hudconfig/v3/
Unfortunately this week it stopped working. Anyone know what happened?
I really need to use it since i lost my custom HUD over the weekend.

never bothered to use custom hud until i see this… how do you use it?

That tool was created years ago when Dirty Bomb was still in Alpha.
The good news is that @Xyfurion is working on a HUD editor himself.
As far as I know he is doing great progress. :slight_smile:

In the meantime you could always try to move the HUD manually in the config.
I have created a Steam guide for that.
It will take you a lot of time, though.

@Sorbert If you give me a little more time, I can get HUDEdit out quickly. As of now, I am gathering feedback from the testers and implementing it into HUDEdit. Hopefully it shouldn’t take too long from now.

However, due to me trying to pass AP Chemistry (GCSE or AS Level Equivalent in EU), things may go a bit slower.

You are my savior. Thanks a lot. Like really a lot. Your config file (that three lines) fits fine for 1920x1080. I just changed the minimap position to the right top corner - the place where i have a rearview mirror in car. Subconsciously peripheral checking that place:D
Just realized, that health bar, carry bomb … position are on the plce, where i have a speedometer in car :smiley: So obviously “car configuration” fits best to drivers hehe.
