This has caused quite a bit of confusion in our house. My wife and son wish to play a co-op game over LAN (PC’s). The problem is the co-op button is constantly greyed out, and not selectable. Why is this so, and is there a way around this?

It’s for information only
So if you select to have a public or private game it will display “Co-op” to let you know this is what you will be playing
You can’t click it because there is nothing to change
Campaign public/private is co-op
To further clarify
Campaign is either solo or co-op
Freeplay is either solo or versus
