Why is forum dead?

There’s 4k people playing yet forum is not active at all. How comes?

Because they are playing the game. Forum tends to explode during downtime but the rest of the time it is fairly lax. It isn’t like there is a huge motivation to use the forums for most people either.

Not to mention this game has a Dev Forum(Warchest), a Publisher Forum(This one), a subreddit and a steam forum. The community is fairly divided.

If you want recruitment here is not the place
There is a team recruitment section for that this is general chat.

are you people trolling me? ill try to rephrase. when new title comes out, forums are flooded with recruitment threads. here i dont see SINGLE super active thread. check forums of following games: combat arms, point blank, crossfire, ava, metro, etc etc etc. Recruitment section usually shows how active team gaming in the game is. For 4k online, the amount DB has is nothing.

Well, the game isn’t released yet. It is still in beta.

Secondly, there isn’t a massive competitive scene yet. Not that many people take part in it and most of them already have teams. Due to it’s lack of attention not many people in game even know there is a competitive scene.

Also, with the lack of player managed public servers there isn’t much for a clan or team to actually recruit for.

Because the subreddit is superior for actually gaining knowledge of the game. Posts that are poorly worded, repeat topics, whine threads etc are all downvoted by the community, leaving intelligent discussion, original content and links to VODs for tournament play.

Considering I spend the majority of my time there discussing things and creating content, I can say in confidence it is that way. Hell, my thread about binding fire to mousewheeldown to make the BR-16 nearly automatic was able to last more than 20 minutes there. In fact, it’s still getting replies while it was closed here since a few people couldn’t resist being toxic and getting it closed by accusing me of hacking.
