Recently about seven of my friends and I decided to download Dirty Bomb. Having a strong love for competitive FPS games, we thought it would be an enjoyable experience. We all played casual matches until we reached level five, so that we could queue up together to play some competitive matches. We were all super excited when we reached level five because casual matches don’t support a feature to queue up with other players. We hopped in to competitive yesterday and started playing matches. We have played about five games over the last two days. Two of those five games were riddled with hackers boosting the enemy team. The hackers we have encountered have used a combination of vision assist, aim-lock, trigger bots, and name changing scripts. This game has not been enjoyable by any means. Without a built in way of reporting other players, or any respectable means of anti-cheat, Dirty Bomb has offered a terrible experience for me and my friends. I think we will be taking an extended break from playing the game that could have offered an enjoyable experience, but just fell short. We will continue to check for updates on these systems, but until then we will be exploring other FPS games. I encourage the devs to focus on anti-cheat over future content. I would much rather play a fair game, than a game that has tons of content and is full of cheaters. Hopefully this raises awareness to how severe the cheating problem is in Dirty Bomb. I encourage other users to also voice your opinions on the matter.

Please do a search on the forums as there has been many other threads like this. DB is currently being targeted by a group of cheaters and steps are being taken to try and fix the issue. Due to the title of this thread and the fact that it repeats topics already being discussed in other threads I am closing this one.
