why flare surfaces cast shdows ?

I made a flare surface in terms of fps’ tuts.

but whatever I did to surfaceparm nolightmap, trans, the shadows still be casted out there, help me figure this out , guys :???:

Try adding “surfaceparm nonsolid”

oh, yeah, the shader just in that tutorial.
Well, it’s solved, I added lots of stuffs on, nonsolid, nomarks, noblalba, it finally works, bahah.
