Why does the new pistol have a bullpup design

Its literally an over-complicated FN 5-7,
It doesn’t even change the barrel length,
It just makes the inner workings of the gun needlessly complicated…for no reason or advantage

It only makes the gun harder to manufacture nothing else…

That’s because nobody is trying to go the AK route of making it super simple and easy to make, cause realistically all you’re doing is putting the chamber behind the trigger. It’s only as complicated as they want it to be.

Besides, many of these complex guns have been getting better at not jamming of failing. Such as better heat transfer, ensuring casing don’t get caught or in the way of anything, and so on.

Sure not much can beat an AK, but we’ve come a long way since Vietnam

what im kinda weirded out is that the MP cant be shouldered

the whole point of bullpup is longer barrel, easier to control muzzle climb

the barrel length is still the same and you cant control the muzzle climb if you cant shoulder it

realistically this is stupid

the MP Probably good for PDW on aircraft or tank crew because its compact but then we got Kriss PDW in real life that has FOLDING STOCK which is a technology well before WW2.

if they want to do it fictional Bullpup they should have done it like the killzone 3 MP

it uses semi-rifle round (like FN 5.7 ) and its longer size made it able to be shouldered and has longer barrel than normal handgun

You missed the point completely…

No I understand your point, but again, the gun is only complicated cause the engineers make it so, you haven’t seen anyone try to simplify the design of a bullpup so there’s less moving parts. Which if they did, would help the reliability and cost to produce.
