When Bushwhacker places a turret the player receives 30 support (blue) XP and 5 combat (red) XP for every lock-on. However, Proxy receives combat XP for placing mines and when mines are tripped. Just like mines, the turret is for combat, and does not support teammates at the same level as giving ammo or health, instead, its use is much closer to that of proximity mines. Therefore I think when Bushwhacker places a turret the player should be awarded 30 combat XP.
Why does placing a turret as Bushwhacker count as support XP?
You’re kind of putting down an extra, even if immobile and “stupid”, still legitly aimbotting teammate on the battlefield at any given time of using the ability :’] I think that if anything is supporting team.
Maybe because
Mines are easier to neutralize, and they only kill 1-2 players?
His turrets on the other hand, annoying boogers.
