Why does Phantom have anything other than a katana??

Do you guys think every loadout card should be with a katana? He just feels impotent without it considering his ability.

I often play him with Beckhill and Kek-10… the knife gives a faster run-speed and the Kek-10 is an awesome all-round SMG. His cloak I use more for tactical positioning and evasion than anything.

If they were to do Phantom properly (ie. remove his stupid shield and make him more stealthy again) then I would agree he NEEDS the Katana on all loadouts - but as he is right now, Phantom + Katana is “meh” at best :confused:

@Faraleth To be honest i’d prefer the armor aspect to be totally removed for 85% or 90% invisibility.

@TheOrangePhantome Yep, I completely agree. He should be stealthy, not tanking damage and running directly at people, swinging his sword like a lunatic. XD

Interesting insight, it kind of makes me want to try harder to use him without the katana since i have a cobalt without one :persevere:

DO you guys feel like his abilities and everything need to be more focused into a certain playstyle?

They haven’t given any weapon on every loadout unless you want to count ability weapons…You don’t see Red Eye with a Granduer and or a Kukri on every loadout…some people actually like to play different…and commonly some cards are just superior to others.
