Why does getting kicked not temp-ban players from rejoining a server?

We had two players on our Stopwatch server yesterday who were rather toxic in general, spamming the chat with Nazi slogans and constantly harrasing the only openly female player in the game. After some time we managed to kick one of them, though only to see him rejoin the server a few seconds later.

Shouldn’t getting kicked from a server by somebody else (or maybe even auto-kicks for being afk) temp-ban you from joining a server again?

(yes, we also reported them ingame and on Steam but unfortunately this has no immediate effect)

yea i definitely know it exists because i was kicked for spoiling the fun of ‘exp farmers’ and not allowed back in, and I dont remember SD removing that feature. So must be broken, porbably along with the whole vote system in general.

I’m sorry for that person who suffered the harassment of those two jackasses by the way. If you can, try to report them to the player support.
