Why do YOU leave the server at the end of the map?

(Szab95) #21

What about the “I find myself in the main menu for no reason” option? Anyone?

(FalC_16) #22

hell yeah … no I usually rage quit xD (voted for the last option)

(Fuze) #23

That awkward moment when I’m alone… 1 vote for ‘I want to trade-in/up, buy stuff in the store’.

(HoopleDoople) #24

There’s a lot of reasons. The most common ones:

  1. I need to play a different mode to earn my daily bonus or complete a mission.
  2. I want to open a case and/or trade up loadouts.
  3. There are a few players with disproportionately good/bad skill relative to the server, all but guaranteeing a lack of team balance.

(watsyurdeal) #25

Because I like to take breaks, it’s a healthy practice.

(Amerika) #26

I usually leave when the server clears out or I just have to go. Sadly, servers seem to clear out super often when I play so apparently a lot of people have a lot of reasons for leaving :frowning:

(DMaster2) #27

Usually to change game mode. But it may be any of those reasons.

(Eox) #28

All of the above seriously. There’s too much reasons about why I will not stay in the server, trading up and opening cases being the main one.

(SiegeFace) #29
  1. Low Player Count.
  2. Completed Obj Mission and want to play stopwatch/execution, decent game modes.
  3. Negative Players who spam abuse
  4. High Pingers in EU (basically without trying to be rude, Americans/Aussies in EU servers which make the games hit reg bad, same thing happens with BF3 when a 100+ ping player joins the hit reg goes to shit)

I never leave to open a case, i stack them over my daily play time, and open them at the end (when i should go to sleep, as I work random shift patterns) then decide to play some more and be late for work the next day.

(LifeupOmega) #30

I pray that another server has people who’re slightly less stupid.

(Lumi) #31

You need a last voting option: All of the above. At least that’s what I would have voted.
Basically there are five options for me:

  1. My network is so bad that it’s literally unplayable.
  2. I need to join a friend’s match.
    3. I want to cancel a mission.
  3. I see an obvious cheater (which is luckily very, very, VERY rare).
  4. The obvious I’m done for now.
You can do the numba 3 in the server with out leaving

Why i leave is multiple things, trade up, case opening, change of game mode, joining a friend, or server bleeds out and going to look for a new populated 1. (mostly when there’s less then 3 peps in the server after a match)

You can cancel a mission from the lobby by clicking on the X next to the mission in the messages menu.

Ehw, thanks for the info.
I’ll look if I can find it…I’ve never noticed it before. :*

(Borganism) #34

For me its either I’ve finished playing for now, changing game mode to finish off a final mission for the most part. The leaving because of other players is more rare but the only one that is an issue.

I either leave because I’m stomping a low level server and ruining others fun, or a group of friends is team swapping and stacking and ruining my fun.

(aRagRappy) #35

I mostly leave because everyone else left. As for why I leave on my own, it’s usually because I finished up my missions and I want to change back to my main mercs or switch modes. Though on a few rare occasions the people on the server just become absolutely insufferable whether it be absurd amounts of salt for one reason or another or the entire team wants to play deathmatch in some random part of the map completely away from the object, even if they have to pass right by it to get to the slaughter zone.

(Grave_Knight) #36

Usually it’s because I’m done with my missions. So, uh, none of the above.

(torsoreaper) #37

The thing that isn’t mentioned in your poll is the time between matches is too long. I think that’s why people leave. It’s faster to leave and find a new match than wait for the existing lobby to start another match.

(Glot) #38

i leave the server, because of mass ragequit of the opponent, hence empty server. this needs to be adreesed asap!
please let me put the bot skill to nightmare =(

(_Sniff_) #39

Enemies rage quitting

(Samniss_Arandeen) #40

Like three Proxies on my five-man team that, with no enemies around, decided that no, they shouldn’t leave their respective hiding spots to go defuse the C4. I have vivid memories of this fucking game.
