Why do I sometimes read that

(Justin) #1

People say they are going to be a Soldier/medic hybrid or something like that? Is that possible in this game?

that would be awesome if u reach level 20 and you can merge the classes. or if it splits into 3 evolved forms. like “combat medic” “health medic” “revive medic” or whatnot.

(Schwarzeis) #3

You can put out points in all the 5 trees, but if you’re currently a Soldier you will only get to use your Universal and Soldier abilities

So they probably mean that they will divide 20 points between the Soldier and the Medic class (+ universal?)

(Justin) #4

Agreed. Like the specializations in mass effect and dragon age. Both bioware games.

(Jess Alon) #5

You can divide points between skills on one profile and switch classes @ command stations and kind of do this.

(BiigDaddyDellta) #6

Right they only say hybrid medic or engineer because you can use any gun no matter what class you are.

(tokamak) #7

When the game is actually released and people understand this stuff the ‘class x/class y hybrid’ have more meaning and will refer to whatever combination of classes you’ve specialised in.

(Herandar) #8

Relevance???

(Shadedluck) #9

I think you are referring to the “medium medic/operative” and the like.
I’m pretty sure they mean that they want to be medium medic or medium operative, not hybrids.

I don’t know, but sounds good.
