could not load worldmap…
yes that is called working in a foolish manner. if you are working flat out for one hour solely building radiant its strongly advised that you continuously test at least the modified regions of your map often to track down any leaks of bug that have arisen, this makes it much easier to track them down
and 4096 x 4096 units is big but its not by any means gigantic
as a more general comment i suspect that many of your problems are the result of a lack of patience. there is a lot of information about mapping in this forum and around the web and you will find it might be harder to find and more difficult that just asking for someone to spoon feed you the answer but in the long run its this that a aspiring moder into a mapper where the quick fix easy answer might get you a working result but as far as benefiting your mapping knowledge the effect will probably be quite minimal
oh yeah and also try
/sv_pure 0
/set g_gametype 2
/devmap “yourmap”
The thing is, if you start asking all these simple questions which can easily be found by just looking for them for 5 minutes, then you will not learn them.
Once you encounter more difficult problems, where there might not be a forum full of patient members that tell you exactly what to do even if they already told people 100 times, you will never solve it if you don’t know the basics…
