So I have been using the stark lately on Arty and I use the BR on Skyhams. Whenever I use the BR I just don’t feel right. I perform around the same with each weapon but it just isn’t fun (or something). Maybe it’s the look? I like the sleek, shiny cylinder scope on the top o the stark. MMMMMM Sexy! The BR just looks bulky and clumsy almost. Anyone else feel like this?
Why do I love the stark? Please tell me...

I like its looks, scope and sound over BR-16. Also the fact that it has tighter bursts and that tiny amount of extra damage that sometimes matters.

I feel uncomfortable with the BR-16 as well. Main thing I guess is that I am used to the tighter burst and extra damage of the Stark.

The faster burst makes the stark connect more hits in a burst and therefore feels more reliable, at least to me.

This, also it takes 1 less shot to break 90, 120 and 160 HP meaning that the BR-16 can frequently leave people barely alive when the Stark would have gotten the kill.

I used to only use the BR-16 until they buffed both guns, making the Stark just a tad bit stronger. Now when I use the BR, i just wanna go back to stark, BUT
sometimes you can get those bursts with the BR, where you think you have an automatic weapon. I haven’t quite figured it out, yet I am fascinated by it and maybe there’s still a playstyle to figure out for the gun

I think the same since it’s easier at least for me to use in close quarters as opposed to the stark. Since I prefer that distance (usually) that’s why I prefer the BR, also prefer the iron sights at the distance I ads at, just easier for me to make out the target, less obscured vision.

I prefer the Stark almost entirely because of that tiny amount of extra damage. There are so many times where I’m using a BR16 and somebody gets away with almost no HP or kills me with no HP and if I had a Stark I would have won out. I like do like the sound a bit better.
However, I can play with both and feel pretty good. I recently used the BR16 again on Arty and completely murdered a team in a short amount of time with it.
It’s funny how the Stark has went from a mostly made fun of and unused gun to now being considered one of the strongest, if not the strongest, weapon in the game when used right.

It’s strange how the Stark’s ironsight is only possible to use with a mumble crosshair, which is then stupidly, stupidly accurate where otherwise the crosshair bounces everywhere but your target.

The cross is off-center and the weapon model is extremely bouncy, even if you just swipe your mouse across the pad it will move considerably more than most other weapons tend to when ADSing. The Stark definitely needs to be given the Blishlock treatment to its sighted animations. And preferably non-toilet paper tube sights as well.

Am I the only one who really doesn’t care if it’s the Stark or BR-16? They are both similar enough to me that I have no preference. Any advantage one has over the other is offset by an aspect of the other.
