Why did you remove the 6v6 min level SW servers?

You said, that you will focus on 5v5 and 6v6 and then you remove the 6v6 min level servers? Since the game is full with new players, there is no place for me anymore. I m level 193, i dont enjoy playing with level 1 - 5 players. This is no fun for me.
All i can do at the moment, is joining a server, check the levels, disconnect, next server. I just connected (and disconnected) to 10 servers, they are all full with new players. I have no idea where to play.

And please dont say, i have to use CMM. I dont like it to be forced to play a game mod and a system that i really dislike. I tried it. I had only bad matches. 4 vs 6, no refills, noone could switch, no shuffle vote possible. Waste of time. Also i like to stay on a server, and play 1 match after the other, my friends should be able to join etc. This all does CMM not offer.

Since that last dev video, some say you removed min level 6v6 servers, cause you want us to pay money to rent a server from you. Is that true?

My PayPal is on standby, just waiting for possibility to buy 1-3 servers (still I’d rather host it on dedicated server than rent it but as I mentioned it earlier - better this than nothing).

Min 20 lvl, min 30lvl here we come!

please do. I won’t have your babies, but I’ll be nice to them.

I completely agree with OP. I know there are min level servers in Moscow, (I’m a EU player) but they are empty and the ping is >80. Playing SW on 7v7 servers with no level restriction is just horrible. There are no tactics involved, it’s just a complete overcrowded spam fest.

IMHO, this is bad for both veterans and new players alike. For veterans it’s utterly frustrating to play, and for new players it form bad habits, and they’re not give the chance to learn what this game is really about: Teamplay, roles, tactics and objective.

Please, SD. Give us back the min level SW servers in good locations. Some of the most enjoyable games I’ve had are on the min level 20 server, with experienced players on both teams.

As it is now it’s almost impossible to get a real feel for how Javelin performs, and how she fits the meta, as most games I play are just a cluster fuck of spam. Not just rocket spam, but also mines, grenades and jumping shotgun monkeys, pouring out from every nook and cranny of the maps.

CMM is OK I guess, but getting balanced matches is a lottery right now and I prefer SW over OBJ.

Custom servers can’t come soon enough. Not having a very good time with Dirty Bomb right now…

Yeah…I just played a match before dinner that had 2 engineers that were textbook playing Bushwacker completely wrong…wouldn’t repair…kept placing turret out in the open so it would get shot down before it even fired a round…ect ect…

I just finally got through a decent match, last second win after getting team spanked time after time after time.

Game before that, besides me no one on my team was above 20…they had at least 3 people near or above 100…and the team was spawn camping.

I can honestly say I don’t like these changes so far…

Can’t agree more. I feel the exact same and was afraid the last update killed higher level games. I have no where to go. I have no team nor patience for Ranked games, I can’t stand 7V7 chaos and I’d like to avoid new players cause they are no fun to fight with and against.

Before the update, we had an average of 5-6 MIN 10 servers running. Now we have none cause they’re all in Siberia. MIN LVL servers can provide really good games sometimes.

Can we have MIN LVL servers in EU already? I am still not planning on moving to Siberia.

Thanks.

Totally agree . Its good too see the game being flooded by new players but the matches are very stompy on SW. Many ppl get very toxic too coz of that…

Unfortunately, every direction this game is heading in is the wrong one. Map design, microtransactions, “casual” matchmaking, etc… It’s all pretty terrible and sad. I knew it was bound to happen at some point. The only good thing I see is merc design. Javelin and Turtle are nice.

SD’s decisions just feel wrong. Sure, the game is in beta and nothing is finalized, but the path we’re heading in just doesn’t feel like DB anymore. Map design in regards to Dockyard, Vault, and Dome Redux are just awkward and lacking. They keep narrowing maps, removing jumps, sightlines, flank routes, and variety while adding invisible walls, unnecessary debris blocking paths/jumps, and adding pointless clusterfuck zones. Just my opinion, but these maps don’t feel right for DB. I like Dockyard and Vault to an extent, but they have so much more potential. The original version of Dockyard was better in my opinion. Needed work and cover added, but had some great potential to capitalize on DB’s movement (a feature which previously seemed to be a focus). Invisible walls are a huge killer as well. Dome was a great map and it did need some changes, but not what it received. 1st and 3rd objectives have been destroyed. It’s a very boring map now. :frowning:

The microtransactions aren’t of the P2W factor, but they are a cash grab. This pointless RNG is only going to turn people away. I’ve spent money, and wanted to keep spending money, but after Javelin’s ghost case, I most likely won’t. I shouldn’t have even bought that. The loadout can’t be chosen and more cases can’t be purchased so people are stuck with something they’ll never use. I thought we were headed in a better direction when the Phantoms came…

CMM has just been a failure. Too many problems, both bugs and playability issues. Knew it wasn’t going to work.

Just my opinion anyways, doesn’t matter lol.
