Bought Vaseline as my first merc because with my very limited knowledge I thought he was the most “unique” one, since he has a sniper instead of assault rifle. Oh how I was wrong. Never used him till late game though since I sucked so much at sniping, and didn’t want to cripple my team.

Vassili, Fragger, Fletcher, Redeye, Arty, Sawbonez, Nader, Sparks, Aimee. (not exactly in that order, but its pretty accurate) people buy vassili first because they want the option to snipe. you dont have that while starting to play DB, and after you buy him you decide that sniping is/isnt for you
