Why can't we use 2 identical cards in trade ups ?

I spent quite a lot of time farming cases and credits to get a good Flecher card. 4 bronzes i made were terrible and i had 2 A23 cards. I had four cards so thought i’d roll the dice in a silver trade up, but i couldn’t use more than 1 A23.
Is there a good reason to this or is it just big ass fuck you with no apparent reason ?

I think you only can’t when you try to put them in the trading menu by double clicking on them.
But if you drag&drop them it should be fine.

Or it’s the other way around.

You can. But it’s really flimsy. Use auto-select.
