i absolutely love fletcher and the only thing i want for him is either an obsidian or cobalt a31 for him. i just recently got a new cobalt for him and imo its garbage so i wanted to trade in, but then my cards didnt show up so i got sad. if this is a bug, please fix, if not then why?
Why cant i trade two cobalt fletcher in for a cobalt feltcher
Idk… I was able to trade in a Cobalt Phoenix and a Cobalt Skyhammer for a new Cobalt Phoenix… maybe I was just able to cheat the system? :S
Because they removed that feature last patch so now I’m stuck with 2 cobalt Naders that aren’t SM41.
At the moment you can’t do it. Personally I think that’s wrong and annoying. Nobody likes this. Getting a desired higher tier card is hard enough already.
Official statement is that the trade-in function is still work in progress. That doesn’t really explain the fact that when trading in was first introduced we weren’t able to use the same merc to trade in, then they made it possible, as promised. After the last patch they reverted it again, so now it’s not possible. I don’t get how is this helping the progress on that simple function and what exactly is being worked on. If it’s about forcing some people to play or pay more, well, nope.
Don’t get me wrong, I like the game and I respect the team very much, and I don’t want to tell you how to do your job,
but if you want money, just introduce some merc and/or weapon skins which are only available for money. I’m perfectly fine with this. Some cheesy changes to cards trading is not gonna do much good.
Oh, and trinkets are lame, that’s not gonna work.
I think they’re gonna make it so that you can’t trade in and get the exact same card.

If so, that’s very good.

this, but it’s difficult

Which would be pretty crappy if I have, for example, an s95 Stoker in Bamboo that I want in Swiss Red that is also s95.
The system that was in place before was perfectly fine and works like all the rest of the systems work for trading up or buying cases…you might get a dupe. Everyone knows this. Sure, some people get salty but you probably also get salty if you go to a casino and lose a good chunk of money without winning even one time.

That’s the thing though, will they make it so you are guaranteed to not get the same loadout in any skin or just the same card with the same skin?
