The only thing the game is lacking currently is some weapon balance, but with enough feedback from casuals and competitive players alike, and those problems should be hammered out within a few weeks or a month.

Maybe i really owe the op an apologie… those “Thank you SD” - Threads are just annoying to me. From my view ive paid 40 euro for a game i cant play. yes 10-30 fps is unplayable to me. And its not because i have some exotic kind of graphicscard i just made the mistake?! to own an ATI card. See no word on the game box saying “only nvidia. thx for the 40 bucks duchebag” and this is an issue they knew before the release since nearly everyone has low fps on ati.
Understand why i get mad when someone praises those greedy guys like they have done something brilliant?! To me brink is a waste of hard earned money. And im not going to be patient because the devs werent patient when they released this piece of beta trash too…
btw i did not play any of the cod parts. so i dont know if they are bad or not. didnt want to defend cod…

No apology is necessary. I’m sorry you’re having the problems you are man, I am. I hope they are made right for ya. I understand as much as anyone dropping hard earned money on something that is useless or you don’t like. When I got the game…I spent two days reading the reviews (and the praise wasn’t what I think everyone expected)…and had to decide if it was worth taking a chance on. I’m tight with my money and I had to give up some games I do like (and one I DON’T) to afford Brink. So it was a big choice to me.
There ARE things, so far, that I don’t like. Of course there are. But there are MANY more things I do like and it’s REFRESHING to me that it’s not just a carbon copy of CoD and that it’s a game that is trying to stand on it’s own.
Cant sell it because that would make me as greedy as the devs. Cant expect the one i sell this game to, to enjoy this game at current state. At least its most likely a dissapoit to that person. So only refund would be an option by now. i have moral principles dude.
And Nail its not my fault that brink is unplayable so why should i have the trouble to resell that game? your just a trolling fanboy imho…
@H3LLS1 i read reviews too and i knew that theres a huge possibility i dont like the game. in that case even nails answer would make sense. but im having 20 fps on a HD 5870 since the release on every catalyst version i tried. so this is not a question of taste… wish i could finally play brink to hate it

@eMwegA I have put the game on 2 AMD ATI builds one with a 5850 and one with a 3850 and it is more than playable on both machines. Hopefully it is getting the love it needs to fix any issues other ATI users may be having, but stating that it dosnt work on ATI is false. There are a slew of posts about NVidia issues as well with OpenGL Driver, so you could have owned an NVidia that didnt play the game either.
Thats so true. I posted a thread saying 360 ONLY in the OP and then they all started talking PC crap, so I oversized the 360 part but they just kept on discussing sound files and cvars and whatnot… Shenanigans!

WTF?! “Not live up to your expectations?!” Im running at 20 fps max and heavy fps issues. xD And other games are bad too is a weak (not even an) argument. and yes. usually i can play the games i bought. Maybe some ATI users are fine maybe most of them but still A LOT of people are having huge problems. sry to abuse you with my whine -.-
