Why can't I leave the match in the middle?

You’ll be able to hop in and out of servers in casual mode :slight_smile:

because you’re playing competitive mode
would be pretty depressing to have half your team leaving throughout the game in a ranked match, wouldn’t it?

this weekend especially the competitvie matchmaking was tested. And there you should not leave otherwise you should get a penality.

If the matchmaking will be implemented well, than you will have enemies and teammates nearly the skill you have. So most players will not be terrible when you aren’t :wink:

If you dont have the time to play a whole match you have to play casual mode. Only a Surrender would be nice in my opintion! If teams are uneven cause one team is doing much better teamwork or something.
