I think, brink is like game from the future. Massive invention. We need to learn.
After couple of months, later, when we get used to its gameplay,SMART technique, then other games will become just a joke, something old, we dont want to play again.
brink is just too far, too advanced. There is no same game on the market, and every next game will be just a brink clones.

But in all seriousness brink is a streamlined version of ET. ET is a far more advanced game with a ton more of stuff.
In my eyes Brink went backwards on a lot in the franchise but that doesn’t make it a bad game really. I’m sure once the game becomes playable SD will give the game a nice PC facelift. At least I hope they will.
ps3 version has smooth framerate and the gameplay is very very solid. Sorry to hear the PC version isn’t fairing as well (I will be purchasing it when I upgrade my computer).
Streamlined ET is a good thing, imo, the pacing is better in Brink.
sure, there are bugs. But, Show me latest game, game released this year without any bugs. That’s why our opini0n is important. This is developers forum

I’m pretty sure you just really like the game ALOT man,
just as much as I think the STALKER franchise is better then any other petty sandbox game out there, and any other post-apocalyptic game (excluding metro 2033) out there.
But at the end of the hall way thats just purely my opinion.
