Why Brink has fanboys:

This is what pretty much every other thread boils down to anyway, just in a condensed dicks actually out and waving way.
That’s BS, dude. Then, quote my specific post that did that.

My post was SPECIFICALLY about skill ceillings and player gaps in Brink, QW, and CS, which was all mentioned in the OP and my post.

I posted on topic, and some butthurt scrubs replied with, “NO WAYz YOU ARE JUST A CONSOLE SCRUB SO YOU HAVE NO VOICE, SHUT UP”
That’s where the pc vs console BS came from.

By the way, I didn’t comment on any game that I had NOT played plenty of time on in the past, which can’t be said for the little elitist trolls. But, whatever. It’s no hair off my back if a bunch of nerdy little scubs want to post irrational nonsense on splashdamage forums.
Gotta get back to work, now. Laters…
There is definitely an Elitist group of PC players here and headstrong Console guys too. It is one of the underlining problems with the Brink Community, especially since the game itself is designed around and mainly focuses on “Inclusion” and “Teamwork”. The philosophical approach of the game is consistent. It is a team game, so it is actually irrelevant what system and platform that one plays on because the game is more about Team Approach rather than Individual Gun Aim/Skill and “I am better because of X Y and Z” when there is no “I” in TEAM. The game does everything to penalize someone with the wrong mindset.

At the end of the day, no matter how good one is aiming with a keyboard, controller, or their **** it will be the same exact result if you are not working as a team. Guns jump all over the place. Characters take many bullets to go down. Characters need to be gibbed or they remain DBNO. There are mines to knock you down if you rush in alone. Etc.

My main point: it don’t matter what platform you are on in Brink: the Approach and Philosophy is the same: Team. All strategy and effective tactics transfer. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just being thickheaded.

Have you ever even see QUAKE? It’s completely skill based, because if you can’t think ahead, move fast and easily, or shoot accurately you’ll never actually win.

Hate to spoil the fun, but we’ve been way off topic for quite some time.

Locked.
