Why Are You Still Playing?

I think the only people that hate this game nowadays have 1500+ hours in the game and need to take a long break or leave indefinitely. Dirty Bomb itself has very few issues remaining and it a great game. If vets dont enjoy it dont play the game, or at least spare the rest of us that enjoy it the constant “this game sucks” feedback from the vets

Are you a female Christian that’s at least graduated high school and in the mood to start a family?

I don’t think any amount of context will justify that question.

I keep playing a few games a week because I loved the game too much. The development decisions have pushed me away though. I play less and less. I thought we would get much needed improvements when SD split from Nexon, but it was the opposite. I dislike a lot of changes, hate the map changes especially, but still enjoy playing with friends when they’re on.

To put it simply, the game is just boring now, and not because I overplayed it. All of the changes combined, from the weapon “balances” to the downright awful map revamps (RIP Dome), have dulled down the gameplay in my opinion.

The other issue is the amount of bugs still plaguing the game. Lots of old bugs are still there as well as some weird new ones. The game doesn’t feel as smooth as it once did. Feels… laggy? Not sure how to describe it really, it’s just off. Maybe I’ll be back to playing everyday again, or maybe I’ll eventually quit. The world may never know :#

Gotta get married to a wife that fits me yo: just asking if (s)he’s the one… that answer sure made me swoon.

It’s really weird, I don’t really know why I’m so into this game compared to all others. I usually shy away from the more competitive multiplayer games. This was the first closed beta game that I applied for and got into. So, at first, I played because it was a unique experience.

If I had to guess, I would say the gunplay, “parkour” elements, slightly longer time-to-kill, cool art design, and dev interaction all came together to form the perfect game. Plus, I saw this as the improvement on their earlier game Brink (I so wanted to love Brink, but it just… lackluster).

Now I play mainly to keep up with the high levels; it’s pretty fun to interact with the high level community.

I love this game to death (almost 750 hours of playing; the most hours out of any game I have played), but what discourages me is the lack of freedom for experimentation. Games like Team Fortress 2 and Battlefield had a playground feel where I could run crazy loadouts and do dumb stuff without teammates complaining. I’m not saying they should implement those same mechanics into DB, but I would like to see more diverse gamemodes in DB. Right now, I feel the amount of fun I have is directly tied to how well I am doing with my team.

I hope custom servers will fix some of my problems. Also, I hope SD reconsiders adding a co-op gamemode into DB as well as other unique gamemodes to spice things up. All things said and done, I plan to play Dirty Bomb till the last server croaks.
