Why are we able to get same loadout more then once?

(Rimmorn) #1

Just as the title says, rolled a loadout for Nader that I already have and I’m wondering why is it even possible.

Because of different rarity. Otherwise you would get all (including the rarest) loadouts and you would need to open just few of same crates.

crates have random cards

So there are 150+ loadouts, assuming ~10 per crate, I’d need to get every crate at least 15 times to unlock all of them without repeating which in itself would take some time. Now if I can get same loadout 15 times that means it will take significantly longer to get 1 of these 150+ that I actually want, not to mention that with balance changes certain loadouts will end up superior. With no way to create a loadout using those that I have it will be up to RNG Gods and real money transactions (because we all know that you’ll be able to either buy crates or loadouts themselves) who can use which loadout. I’m willing to play for few months to get something I want, not few years.

I complained about this on Twitter and got this response; twitter.com/Dolfe_Steele/status/553497401877876736

They have a plan for it. If I had to hazard a guess, I’d say they’ll be tradable or exchangeable for whatever non-RMT currency is inevitably implemented.

(Rimmorn) #6

Can any of the devs give us some info about this matter?

(Mustang) #7

Instead of spending time adding more cards they are revamping it to a slightly different system, hence why Dolfe Steele said “watch this space” and also why it takes longer. There will be a lot more variety in the new version.

This system is fine. Very similar to CS:GO weapon crates, I hope they keep it that you can get 2 of the same but do make it so you can trade them up or something.

Yeah when I got a repeat loadout I was way pissed off so I hope they make them trade-able for other loadouts. Would be nice trading my uncommon Pheonix for an uncommon red eye.
